Abstract

This research is located in the Tulehu area, Maluku Province which has geothermal potential in the form of manifestations of
hot springs that emerge to the surface. This research aims to determine the characteristics and origin of geothermal fluids using
hydrogeochemical and stable isotope methods. The research was carried out by taking 5 hot spring samples marked with
samples codes THU-1, THU-2, THU-3, THU-4 and THU-5. Based on the research results, geothermal fluid from the 5 hot
springs in the researc area is included in the chloride water type, and is meteoric water that experiences mixing or interaction
with surrounding rocks as it reaches the surface.
